Reply specialises in the design and implementation of solutions based on new communications channels and digital media and has been honoured as the leading "Accelerator" for digital and web workloads in the latest study on the "Managed Public Cloud Provider" market segment by Crisp Research. According to Crisp Research, the term “Accelerator” indicates "that the service providers make a substantial contribution to the acceleration of transformative and innovative processes on client websites, and should be perceived more as partners than a just service providers". The independent IT research and consulting firm stressed that “all [Reply] companies … accompany businesses throughout the entire value chain of the managed public cloud lifecycles”. Furthermore, Crisp Research emphasised Reply’s huge portfolio of supported public cloud providers, including AWS, IBM, Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, SAP HANA, T-Systems and Oracle. In this category, the Reply Group was rated as agile overall, and also highly innovative.
The report provides a relevant overview of Managed Public Cloud Providers (MPCP) within Germany. The businesses were assessed in two key categories: “Service Value Creation” and “Vendor Performance”. Service Value Creation is about the provider’s market maturity, and includes an assessment of the service portfolio and experience, as well as integration services. Subcategories of the Vendor Performance include strategy, ecosystem or agility. The results are displayed in two quadrants – for enterprise and web workloads. Businesses are then awarded the titles of “Emerging Player”, "Challenger", "Innovator" or "Accelerator", which is the highest award. In this provider comparison, Reply scored top marks. In terms of web workloads, Reply is the leading “Accelerator” – in other words the market leader, and is also an “Accelerator” in the area of enterprise workloads. The group’s deployment variety and international orientation ensures that the individual subsidiaries are capable of delivering to the enterprise market and are also able to implement hybrid and multi-cloud scenarios.
What makes Reply so outstanding is that it belongs to the top 3 companies able to position themselves both in the digital and web workload as well as in the enterprise workload segments. This demonstrates Reply’s extensive knowledge of virtualisation, the entire enterprise IT, project management skills on an enterprise level, and, in particular, its hybrid cloud integration expertise. Crisp Research has thus attested to Reply’s role as a "pioneer”, who takes part in current debates and contributes to solutions to technical problems via the communities and partner programmes of the cloud providers and the open source projects. In addition, Reply was the only provider to perform above average in all categories.
The Crisp Research analysts' conclusion: The Reply Group is a strong, international partner for the development and operation of public cloud workloads and is among the all-rounders in the German MPCP market. “Reply is one of the market leader for digital workloads in the cloud, which are of central importance when it comes to the success of the digital transformation. We are helping businesses to successfully accomplish the digital transformation and gain competitive advantages – increased sales through new digital products and services, improved customer experience and thus enhanced customer loyalty, cost reductions and operational efficiency gains,” summed up Dr. Thomas Hartmann, Board Member of Reply. "We are delighted with this fantastic award from Crisp Research, which confirms the outstanding quality of our cloud solutions.”
