Project Needs

A Machine Builder faced increasing competition from low cost countries, with ever increasing challenges to differentiate his product with classical hardware or service features.

Therefore a stringent digitalization approach was required, i.e. identifying value adding use cases and implementing differentiating, value adding solutions for the end customer, that increase customer loyalty and generate additional revenue streams from digital offerings for the Machine Builder.


Implemented white labeled AXULUS Value Scaling Accelerator approach to seamlessly drive innovation on use cases and roll-out of developed digital solutions across an internal network of experts and to the external customer base.

Standardized templates and workflows provided to customers to propose use cases to the Machine Builder, who in return delivers solutions ready to implement by a step-by-step roll-out workflow. Easy and transparent online enablement for a broad network of users an customers, with easy central management by the Machine Builder of technological and commercial boundary conditions for solutions identified and published Fastest time to value with digital solutions for customers of the Machine Builder, who is able to offer differentiating solutions, substantially increasing customer loyalty.


White labeled version of AXULUS Value Scaling Accelerator as central, online tool chain, to drive use case identification, solution documentation and roll-out of solutions to the global customer network.

Initial AXULUS Launch Project in close collaboration with expert team at Machine Builder to define scope for roll-out, technical and commercial boundary conditions for solutions and invite resp. distribute login credentials to a broad global network of experts and customers.

Key elements of the successful implementation include:
  • Standardized description templates for use cases, technical documentation of developed solutions, value quantification and roll-out resp. implementation workflows
  • Online training and support capabilities enabling customers, to propose use cases and use developed solutions with clear, ready-to-use workflows
  • Clearly defined and executable workflows for Machine Builder to manage global use case and solution pipeline, invite and manage external solution designers and service providers, and publish solutions to customers

AXULUS implemented as a cloud-based subscription tool, running on Microsoft Azure (private or public cloud version) and providing all core functionalities to manage the solution and implementation pipeline from end-to-end across a global network of experts.

Standardized "AXULUS Launch Project" approach, documented as ready-to-use workflow, allowing the customer to kick-start innovation and value creation from day one onwards.
