    HI Shop, the Contextual Marketing solution devised and developed by Concept Reply (the Reply research centre for the Internet of Things), has received ’Best in Show’ for its outstanding entry at the Italian POPAI Awards 2013. This is a prestigious award from POPAI, the world’s only not-for-profit trade association for retail marketing.

    The panel of marketing and communications experts from major Retail and Consumer Goods multinationals considered HI Shop a worthy winner on the basis of its originality and digital innovation for the point of sale. Using a straightforward approach, HI Shop allows the store to interact with the consumer via smartphone and tablet, providing an effective way to manage in-store promotions and to introduce products, both inside the shop and in the vicinity

    HI Shop allows users to enjoy a totally new purchasing experience using their smartphone, so opening up a direct, personally tailored and contextualised communication channel between companies and their customers.

    With HI Shop, personalised messages can be sent and received via smartphone or tablet, in several languages, providing a virtualised loyalty-card system and allowing barcodes and QR codes to be sent and managed to support digitalised couponing. HI Shop can also be integrated with Digital Product Placement solutions to get brands talking with their end-consumers, using television to reach viewers through their smartphone or tablet.
