WM Reply Earns Silver at Internal Communications and Engagement Awards 2025
WM Reply, the Reply Group company specialising in modern digital workplaces, working with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care services in England, have been recognised at the 2025 Internal Communications and Engagement (ICE) Awards, winning the Silver award for Best Intranet, for their collaboration on ‘HOME’: CQC’s new employee experience platform.
This award highlights the success of a user-led approach to internal communications, where design, accessibility, and engagement were prioritised to support over 3,000 remote and hybrid colleagues. Developed using Microsoft 365 and Viva Connections, HOME provides a central space for communication, collaboration, and connection, consequently enabling staff to access the information and tools they need to deliver high-quality care services.

We feel very proud to have brought home silver.” They went on to elaborate, “The new platform has been transformational at CQC, enabling us to achieve our ultimate goal of making it easier for colleagues to efficiently perform their jobs. The HOME platform was shaped through extensive consultation and co-design with CQC employees, ensuring every voice was heard. WM Reply and CQC focused on accessibility, ease of use, and mobile responsiveness, using built-in Microsoft 365 tools alongside custom solutions where needed.
Since launch, HOME has significantly improved content discoverability, internal communications, and employee engagement. Metrics show substantial increases in usage across key areas, with search activity up more than 1,000%, demonstrating the platform’s impact on daily working life.
