Our commitment to Ethical AI
AI is transforming business and society, creating new opportunities and new responsibilities. At Reply, we are committed to using AI responsibly — ethically, safely, and transparently — so clients can innovate with confidence while managing risks effectively.
The Ethical AI Committee
The Reply Ethical AI Committee oversees AI initiatives across the Group. Its mission is to provide guidance, ensure compliance with regulations, and support teams with advisory, training, and best practices for responsible AI deployment.
Three-Layered Framework
Our Responsible AI approach is structured around a three-layered framework that combines principles, compliance, and practical support:
These principles guide every AI project and align with global standards and regulations:
Fairness: We commit to minimizing bias in AI and promote equitable access and participation for as many individuals and groups as possible.
Accountability: We establish human oversight and define explicit accountability for the decision-making processes and outcomes of AI.
Transparency: We disclose the usage of AI transparently and point out its capabilities and limitations.
Explainability: We provide explanations to support individuals and groups in understanding the decisions made by AI.
Safety: We seek that AI does not cause harm and upholds human rights.
Security: We take security measures to prevent the malicious use of AI and attacks on the systems.
Privacy: We incorporate privacy and data protection in the development and use of AI.
We apply our principles into day‑to‑day practice through a coordinated approach. Reply AI policy set expectations for responsible design, development, and use. Ethical AI embedded into enterprise risk management to identify potential harms and mitigation measures. Our legal compliance framework ensures our systems align with applicable laws, standards, and compliance requirements along with AI registry that provides transparent documentation of systems, enabling continuous improvement.
To support practical adoption, our Ethical AI Office offers an integrated suite of resources and services. The Ethical AI Knowledge Agent provide curated guidance and on‑demand answers to common implementation questions. General AI training builds capability across roles. Complementing these resources, our advisory services deliver tailored guidance on real projects—helping teams interpret requirements and implement ethical AI principles throughout the AI lifecycle.
By following this framework, Reply ensures that AI solutions are ethical, transparent, and trustworthy, in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Reply has Ethical AI Communities of Practice – an international network of Reply employees advancing by thoroughly exploring Ethical AI principles, conducting in-depth investigations, and developing specialized tools and processes. This initiative will empower Reply and partners to lead the way and create a significant Ethical AI implementation.
The Ethical AI User Group is a Reply-organized, international community of company and university leaders that provides orientation and guidelines for ethical, compliant AI across jurisdictions, with quarterly meetings that share best practices and deliver tangible outputs like tool surveys, implementation guidelines, and good‑practice collections.
