Case Study

Easypersonaltrainer, the video training platform by La Gazzetta dello Sport

La Gazzetta dello Sport, in collaboration with Discovery Reply, has created a multi-tenant platform to distribute subscription-based fitness video content, making professional training accessible anywhere, simply and flexibly.

THE challenge

Develop a digital platform capable of supporting the publication and management of subscription training programs by professional trainers, providing users with simple, immediate, and high-quality access to streaming content.

SCENARIO

A digital ecosystem for trainers and users

La Gazzetta dello Sport, a leading publication in the Italian sports landscape, has chosen to enhance its brand authority in the world of sports and wellness by entering digital fitness, a rapidly growing sector increasingly focused on the consumption of professional content remotely, without location or time constraints.

The goal was twofold: on one hand, to offer users a flexible training experience, guided by certified professionals and structured programs; on the other hand, to provide trainers with a tool capable of integrating technology and services, reducing the complexity and costs associated with creating a paid offering and allowing them to focus on developing their digital presence.

The solution also needed to ensure a multi-tenant architecture, capable of independently hosting profiles and content from multiple creators and supporting the growth of the catalog and user base.

the solution

A multi-tenant platform for video fitness

Discovery Reply has designed and developed EasyPersonalTrainer, the online video training platform launched by La Gazzetta dello Sport to offer fitness content through a subscription model via an advanced digital framework.

Based on an evolution of the Video Platform Discovery, the solution has customized CMS functionalities and is integrated with RCS payment systems to support content distribution and monetization. The platform allows users to explore trainer profiles and stream training programs that best suit their needs.

Each trainer has a dedicated editorial workspace to organize and publish their content, while dynamic surveys and a tagging system guide users towards paths aligned with their goals and preparation level. With an offering that includes functional fitness, yoga, metabolic training, and specific programs for pregnancy and postpartum, EasyPersonalTrainer provides a professional, flexible, and tailored training experience.

With Easypersonaltrainer, La Gazzetta dello Sport and Discovery Reply fulfill a dual role: they combine editorial and technological expertise to bring the experience of the best trainers into users' homes, and they offer trainers themselves a solution that reduces complexity and costs, allowing them to focus on content development and their own methods.
