InstantCar, the innovative car loan that offers instant approval by FCA Bank, was awarded as “Digital Innovation of the year” during the Motor Finance Europe Awards 2022. This event brought together, in Berlin, the leading international players in the world of car finance.
The winning project is the first fully instant financial solution dedicated to the automotive world in Italy, from the financing phase to payment. It was developed by FCA Bank and Reply with the aim of making access to car finance by customers faster and more flexible. InstantCar allows customers to obtain a credit assessment and approval for their car finance in just three minutes, in a simple, secure and omni-channel way.
In line with the new consumer habits characterising the automotive market, InstantCar applications can be submitted both directly, at dealerships affiliated with FCA Bank, and online, through car e-commerce platforms, or by following the purchase offer at the dealership, including via a smartphone.
The solution, designed and developed by Blue Reply, is based on the latest digital technologies. The solution uses the Italian Public System for Digital Identity (SPID) for remote customer recognition – the first step of a quick and secure shopping experience – and obtains access to the customer’s current account thanks to PSD2 (Payment Services Directive 2) for an immediate credit assessment, thus eliminating the obligation to submit income documents.
