The European Land Robot Trial (ELROB) is a European event for field robotics and unmanned systems. Developed by practitioners for users, industry, and the research sector, the event focuses on real-world tasks in real-world operational scenarios. Robotics experts and specialists from around the world come together to test the current performance capabilities of robotic systems under extreme conditions and directly compare technical solutions. The event is organized by the Fraunhofer Institute for Communication, Information Processing and Ergonomics (FKIE).

Meet the experts from Roboverse Reply at ELROB 2026. As a specialized company within the Reply Group focused on integration scenarios involving robotics, artificial intelligence, and extended reality (XR), Roboverse Reply tackles demanding challenges in the field. The team will demonstrate on-site highly advanced solutions that ensure maximum safety and efficiency in potentially hazardous zones.
 

SCENARIOS AND TECHNOLOGIES IN USE

Roboverse Reply is deployed in scenarios involving reconnaissance of non-urban environments and reconnaissance of explosive remnants of war. 

In these missions, Roboverse Reply combines state-of-the-art sensor technology with intelligent software control. Using magnetometers, infrared cameras, and custom AI, landmines, ammunition crates, and weapons are precisely located. The robotic systems navigate the scenarios autonomously and can, for example, search rooms in buildings on their own.

For areas that cannot be explored autonomously, a highly advanced VR teleoperation system is available. This allows specialists to manually control the robot from a safe distance while having a full view of the surroundings. Throughout the mission, the systems generate a 2D map in real time as well as a detailed 3D point cloud in which all relevant and detected objects are precisely marked.
