Agentic AI for Earth Observation

    October 19–21, 2026

    BERLIN

The Agentic AI for Earth Observation Workshop, organized by the Berlin Institute for the Foundations of Learning and Data and the European Space Agency, brings together researchers, practitioners, and decision makers from artificial intelligence, geospatial analytics, climate and weather science, remote sensing, and space mission operations. The event provides a platform for exchange, discussion, and collaboration on the growing role of Agentic AI in the field of Earth Observation.

Agentic AI represents a new stage of development beyond current advances in foundation models. In the Earth Observation domain, autonomous, goal driven systems enable new forms of orchestration across data processing chains, missions, and multi agent systems. This opens up new possibilities for processing and analyzing geospatial and satellite based data more intelligently and making it usable for operational decision making.

In Berlin, Frank Reply will show how agentic AI can transform interaction with Earth Observation data.

At the center of the showcase is the demo EVE Workbench Live: A Multi Agent Debate on Berlin's Climate Stress. In a live interaction between a citizen avatar, the EVE Workbench, and EVE as an Earth Observation expert, visitors can explore topics such as urban heat islands, climate resilience, and sustainable city planning. Instead of relying on static maps and dashboards, Frank Reply enables natural conversations, follow up questions, and evidence based insights grounded in Earth Observation data.

In addition to the live demo, Frank Reply is hosting a hands on workshop in which participants can create their own agentic Earth Observation toolchains using natural language. Visitors can verbally define agents, connect capabilities, execute workflows, and experience how agentic systems translate complex Earth Observation tasks into intuitive conversations. As a takeaway, a personalized poster will be available visualizing each participant’s own agent ecosystem.

The experience is further enhanced by embodied AI platforms such as Ameca and Frankie, showing how human centered interfaces can make complex geospatial intelligence accessible to a broader audience.
