Valorem Reply, a Microsoft Gold Partner and specialist in digital transformation, is making its IoT Digital Twin Experience available, in cooperation with Microsoft, in over twenty Microsoft Technology Centers (MTC) worldwide. Visitors to selected MTCs can experience how a solution combining IoT, AI and Digital Twin technology can help reduce production downtime, improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE) and train employees.
With Valorem Reply’s solution, based on HoloLens, the digital twin as a virtual image of a physical object or process takes on a three-dimensional form in extended reality, which always reflects the current reality by integrating IoT data.
Digital Twins can be used for a variety of different tasks such as life cycle documentation, simulations, data modeling, model synchronization, visualization, monitoring, analysis or control. With Valorem Reply’s solution, thanks to a real-time telemetry data transfer to the digital model, any problems occurring in machines or processes are immediately visible to all those involved. Employees can be trained in the operation and maintenance of objects independent of location and without the need for physical presence. Even repairs can be carried out in part, directly on the mirrored device.
Many industries benefit from this solution, including healthcare, aerospace, automotive, energy, logistics and retail.
Filippo Rizzante, CTO Reply comments: "Companies in the manufacturing industry collect countless data through sensors. With the Digital Twin solution and Extended Reality, companies can more effectively manage remote sites and train or instruct employees. In addition, they can digitally transform previously manual processes and optimize business processes".
“While most customers have urgency around adopting emerging technologies like IoT to transform their businesses, the path to get there and specialized skills required aren’t always known. Valorem Reply’s Digital Twin Experience is an innovative and impactful way to help demonstrate real business IoT scenarios for Microsoft customers. The addition of this experience in our Technology Centers is just another step in furthering our mission to deliver immersive industry experiences and deep technical engagements for our clients. We are thrilled to have Valorem Reply’s innovative solution in our centers to show the true potential of our partner ecosystem.” – Mo Omar, Director, Worldwide Customer Experience at Microsoft.
