Key takeaways from the Lünendonk study

Digital experience services continue to gain in importance

Digital experience services are becoming increasingly important in the eyes of the service providers surveyed. Revenue in the digital experience services segment has increased in the last two years and is forecast to grow by 17.8 percent in 2023.

Investments of the past years are continued

The user companies confirm that the investments of the past years are showing results. Many plan to invest further in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud native and building data platforms. Metaverse is also gaining strongly in importance, although not all companies have already identified use cases for it.

Companies rate their digital experience as average

Among the survey participants, 11 percent rate their digital experience as above average compared with the competition. The majority, on the other hand, rate it as average. Only 7 percent of the companies still rate their digital experience as lagging behind.

Differences between pioneers and laggards grow

Most companies believe that the gap between digital leaders and laggards is widening. There are many reasons for this, ranging from a lack of access to digital talent to a lack of penetration in the introduction of new technologies and transformation.

DXS service providers are more than just sparring partners

For the development of digital and customer-centric solutions, companies are looking for strategic and reliable partners with a broad full-service portfolio. DXS service providers are not only sparring partners for technical development and implementation. They operate according to a holistic and interdisciplinary approach and also participate in the development of new business models and digital strategies, among other things.
