Because this question was at the beginning of the project "Introduction of a group-wide CRM" in the Stadtwerke Bielefeld Group. It became clear that the customers were of course known within each company of the Stadtwerke Bielefeld Group, but across companies? The aim of this project was to create a
360-degree view of the customer across four companies in the fields of energy, public transport, telecommunications and public baths. A central aspect of this was the collection of opt-ins. For this reason, Stadtwerke Bielefeld implemented not only the
SAP C/4HANA Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud, but also the
Customer Data Cloud with the aim of fully exploiting cross-selling and upselling potential.
