How it works

Starbytes Social is a reward-based Mobile-Advertising App . A brand can use it to create a campaign, launch its social mission, and incentivise users to share the content with their network of friends via a system of rewards.

Word of mouth, engagement and feedback

The users are engaged in promoting content offered by the brands or in making user-generated content. These campaigns, known as social missions, comprise a series of actions that users can take through their social-media accounts. These include sharing content, commenting on it, answering instant polls, giving a Like or posting user-generated content, all to generate a word of mouth about the brand, to engage users, and to obtain feedback.

Rewards system

The users are incentivised to complete the missions suggested, because each finished task is rewarded using an “internal” currency (bytes) that can be converted into prizes.

Identifying influencers among the users

Users share a stream of content via their Social-Media accounts, and their network’s level of interaction with that content determines their level of social influence.

Insights

Campaign progress can be monitored to see which content the users like best and which generates most online buzz. In addition, invaluable user feedback can be obtained through comments and votes on instant polls. The word of mouth generated is traceable via hashtags and other tracking systems.
