Telemedicine and connected care

Wearables, medical devices and sensors harness the potential of IoT and Big Data to improve quality of life every day. Everywhere.

Living better. Every day. Everywhere.

Based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data, Ticuro is Reply's solution for telemedicine, behavioural analysis and monitoring of vital parameters, capable of improving quality of life through the combination of wearables, medical devices and sensors.

REMOTE CONSULTATION

Secure Audio/Video connection between professionals and people with real-time data exchange.

BEHAVIOURAL ANALYSIS

Environmental sensors for analysing the lifestyle of elderly people living alone (e.g. hours of rest, open door, use of services).

MONITORING VITAL PARAMETERS

Via wireless medical devices, following a telemonitoring plan defined by a doctor, vital parameters are acquired. If the measurement exceeds a predefined threshold, an alarm is automatically generated.

USER INVOLVEMENT

A notification system (e.g. SMS, email) alerts the citizen when a specific activity is to be performed (e.g. pill to be taken, measurement to be taken, exercise to be performed).

CUSTOMISED CARE & CARE PLANS

Ticuro Reply allows the creation of customised plans (e.g. monitoring, pharmacological, activity, rehabilitation) from a predefined data set.

Pediatrics

Ticuro Reply supports telemedicine projects that through remote monitoring enable continuous care services for children suffering from different pathologies. Doctors and healthcare professionals obtain more comprehensive data on the health of young patients to better understand their social, physical and psychological condition.

By setting up a structured process of remote monitoring of vital parameters, and timely coordination of follow-up processes, continuity of care and improved quality of life are ensured.

Ticuro Reply is able to manage the three most strategic areas for the success of these projects: care coordination, telemonitoring and telemedicine.

Chronic Conditions

With the aim of improving the living conditions of citizens suffering from chronic illnesses, Ticuro Reply guarantees effective communication between patient-centred services and care plans. The platform supports innovative clinical and organisational management models for the correct delivery of all out-of-hospital services, in compliance with personalised care paths for each patient.

Continuity of care is guaranteed by the integration of different services, coordinated by the general practitioner together with his collaborators, nurses and practice staff. Ticuro Reply is able to collect all the clinical-health information relating to each individual patient and make it available, in a secure manner and in compliance with current regulations, to all operators.

Patients are provided with a specific kit of biomedical sensors to detect the most significant parameters related to their pathology. The same system also lends itself to the management of ‘protected discharges’, in cases where hospital doctors deem a significant period of patient protection necessary following the conclusion of the acute phase of illness managed in hospital.

Senior Citizen Independence

inCASA  a project financed by the European Community that aims to improve the quality of life of non-self-sufficient elderly people, helps reduce time spent in hospital, thanks to an innovative programme of monitoring clinical parameters, and profiling the life habits of frail individuals.

With the utilisation of Ticuro Reply, the platform created resulting from the inCASA project goals, the use of technology and the provision of specific services help extend the period of time the elderly can ‘live well’ at home independently, surrounded by their own familiar surroundings and comforts.

Consequently, even the most frail individuals can cope with daily life by increasing their independence and minimising the need for hospitalisation and assistance.
