Discovery Reply creates systems dedicated to the management, distribution, and visualization of audio-visual content and multimedia communications, making important contributions towards helping businesses realize their objectives for the future: multimedia technologies as business motivational tools and performance incentives in a context of Corporate Communication and as a means of communications with their own external network and with the media.

When it comes to divulging digital contents, Visual Communications is growing rapidly over traditional systems. Indeed, it has been calculated that within a few years video contents will represent 90% of Internet traffic. For this reason, Discovery Reply offers a modular solution that can be configured and is easy to use, capable of centralizing, organizing, and distributing multimedia business content by publishing it on the web, social networks, and other external channels. Corporate digital media – like images, videos, and presentations – can be uploaded from multiple devices and collected inside the platform that manages their formats, rights, updates, and metadata in one place, thereby preventing the uncontrolled duplication of material and copyright violations while, on the other hand, guaranteeing control of publishing and access logics and promoting their reuse for business purposes.

This solution allows users to share, comment on, modify, and reuse content in real time from home, from their own office, or while travelling, thanks to its architecture created completely in Cloud Computing. The external publication of multimedia contents takes place through enabled digital channels included in the platform itself or where the company is already present, like corporate sites, Press and Trade Portals, social channels, B2B and B2C Portals, corporate intranet, and smartphone apps.

MESSAGE PUSHING

A system that enables Marketing departments to programme and send messages to user profiles or to use Digital Signage to have texts, images, videos, or combinations of all three appear on screens for commercial or promotional purposes or internal communications.

WEB TV

A corporate Web TV platform enables employees to access multi-lingual or subtitled audio-visual content with information on their own group, product and service updates, news, and corporate events. The front-end of the solution consists of a multi-media and multi-device display for visualizing videos, photos, and presentations, plus a back-end editorial platform with content management, repository, and delivery functions as well as reports on digital media access statistics.

The contents produced on a corporate level by the company units can be conveyed with a highly professional quality, thanks to the fact that the solution can manage all the latest video formats. The contents are generally organized by format, enriched with tags, subdivided into chapters, and made available to end users according to access regulations based on corporate organization and, sometimes, country of belonging. Every day, editorial operators can personalize the content catalogue and their layout in each of the controlled multimedia displays in real time.

A video player developed in HTML5 technology provides an advanced user experience for navigating contents, voting, and the selection of the subtitle language.

Supplemental components to be added to the main application, Web TV, or web page for the return of specific contents suitably formatted and configured, like video galleries or specific selections of material.

DIGITAL SIGNAGE

The Multimedia System of Digital Signage consists of a set of public displays configured for the visualization of multimedia content as well as informative and advertising messages managed remotely by a centralized platform. Projectors, display walls, and monitor touch screens can be arranged in public and private places, in waiting rooms or public spaces of businesses or stores, making it possible to transmit different presentations for every viewing point, depending on the geographic position and objectives of the communication, thereby optimizing communications strategies.

These systems are also recommended for corporate types of initiatives, improving communications between management and collaborators by means of information linked to corporate dynamics updated in real time. The architecture is based on best-of-breed Digital Signage technologies for the management of display networks and programme logics. Over the years, Discovery has developed a strong expertise in these areas and offers customized solutions through targeted configurations, the development of plug-ins, and integration with corporate systems and data to actively manage content updates. The solution is modular and scalable, and there are other potential integrations for advanced management of the user experience through touch screens, RFID, interactions with personalized mobile Apps, etc.
