SEA Group manages the airports of Milano Linate and Milano Malpensa, providing all services and related activities. With the support of Syskoplan Reply, a Reply Group company specializing in consulting services and SAP technology implementation, SEA Group won the SAP Quality Award Gold in the Fast Delivery Category for the successful migration of its SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) solution on SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud. The solution has enabled SEA Group to streamline planning and achieve a faster, more accurate close.

Syskoplan Reply was chosen by SEA Group after having already successfully migrated the corporate Business Warehouse on HANA Enterprise Cloud and also for the remarkable experience consolidated in similar project with another customer. Completing the project before the six-month closure was considered a “must” and having a partner on-board with consolidated lessons-learned in order to comply with this requirement has been a critical success factor.
The mission of the project is to simplify and improve the overall performance of the process. The whole data load was reduced from more than 3 hours to about half an hours and secondly a complex tableau de bord, that was previously executed in more than 40 minutes, now refreshes in about 3 minutes. This significant reduction is of course a cost-saving for the IT and Accounting and Financial departments but – more than the cost reduction – now the process can be re-iterated many times a day and the user can be much more accurate in the data produced.
The SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud platform gives SEA Group the full power of SAP HANA in a private, managed cloud environment, supported by the most knowledgeable resources in the industry with a high level H24 Support, a cyclic patching/security update and a reduction to the IT CAPEX cost.
As a key SAP partner for the development of applications on a global level in the "SAP Partner Edge" programme, Syskoplan Reply is investing in new technologies, such as SAP HANA and SAP Hybris in cooperation with SAP, industrial partners and universities.
