The Unipol Group is one of the main players in the Italian insurance sector, with over 12,000 employees and a network of more than 2,000 agencies distributed across the Italian territory. In recent years, the company has embarked on a structured digital transformation journey aimed at introducing Generative Artificial Intelligence in various operational areas: from supporting agents and clients to managing internal processes and services for employees. With UniGPT, the Group aims to strengthen its commitment to enabling new models of interaction and collaboration, combining technology, security, and the enhancement of processes with the ultimate goal of improving the human experience.
The solution
Generative AI in service of people
Cluster Reply has developed UniGPT, a generative AI assistant designed to put artificial intelligence in the service of the user, making it a concrete and daily support structure for all employees of the Group.
The solution, built on a modular and agentic infrastructure, allows for interaction using natural language, document analysis, and controlled web source consultation, improving productivity, efficiency, and access to knowledge.
UniGPT integrates a series of advanced features that enable new models of work and collaboration. All of this is supervised by control and governance mechanisms (Guardrail) that ensure safety, ethics, quality and full compliance with artificial intelligence regulations (AI Act, EIOPA), ensuring at the same time an effective integration with existing business systems.
