Italian Tech Week

This year, Reply was once again a partner of Italian Tech Week, which took place from September 25 to 27 at the Officine Grandi Riparazioni in Turin. The event gathered leading figures from the global tech scene to share cutting-edge trends and experiences.

On September 26 at 4:56 p.m., on the Fucine Stage, Filippo Rizzante, CTO of Reply, delivered a talk titled 'Crafting Tomorrow's Software: The Role of AI'. In this presentation, he explored the impact of artificial intelligence, particularly generative algorithms, on both individual and business productivity as well as the future of software development. It was the chance to delve into the challenges of AI in software development and to discuss the emerging skills required in this constantly evolving field.

On September 27, at 3:30 p.m., in the panel ‘From Concept to Reality: AI real-world impact and use cases’, Fabio Viganò, Partner at Cluster Reply, and Matteo Mille, Chief Sales Enablement & Operations at Microsoft, discussed the state of AI in Italy and its impact on the transformation of companies and IT paradigms.

Our booth: between copilot and affective computing

At the Reply stand in the Tech Expo area of the OGR, it was possible to test our Copilot AI-Scape Room, developed in collaboration with Microsoft: a gaming experience that highlighted the potential of Microsoft 365 Copilot. In addition, it was possible to experiment with how Affective Computing systems allowed us to recognise feelings during a conversation (for example anger, disgust, fear, joy, sadness, and surprise) and, when applied to humanoid robots and Digital Humans, allowed them to understand and respond to the emotions of the interlocutor in a more engaging and natural way.

Italian Tech Week: Area42 Tour

As a part of the Italian Tech Week's side events program, Reply opened the doors of Area42, its state-of-the-art research and technology development lab.

On the mornings of September 26 and 27, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, participants had the chance to explore cutting-edge technologies across various sectors — including robotics, artificial intelligence, industrial automation, and smart mobility — through interactive demos and expert insights from Reply professionals.
