In this area, we experiment with the use of autonomous robots and humanoids for assembly, maintenance, and operational support in complex industrial contexts. Computer Vision and teleoperation allow the robots to better understand the context and to be controlled remotely, expanding their employment possibilities. The Robotics Cybersecurity completes the picture, helping to detect anomalies and make robotic systems safer.

Autonomous drones and unmanned technologies are used for monitoring, patrolling and surveillance in industrial and operational contexts. The use of autonomous aerial systems allows for monitoring extensive or hard-to-reach environments and collecting information directly in the field. The experiments include autonomous navigation and the acquisition of data, with the aim of monitoring assets and infrastructures, reducing operator exposure and expanding intervention possibilities in complex conditions.

Edge AI, embedded AI, Computer Vision and smart connectivity are integrated to process data directly in the field and support real-time decision-making. Local processing reduces response times and enables monitoring, the automation and predictive maintenance of processes. Technologies like 5G, LPWAN, Satellite-IoT, and Device-to-Device connect machines, sensors, and distributed plants, while applications of Anomaly Detection and Digital Twin contribute to improving operational continuity and control of industrial environments.

Warehouse and production activity automation arises from the combination of Warehouse Management platforms, autonomous robotics and intelligent systems. Management software, autonomous mobile robots, and orchestration systems collaborate within a single operational flow to coordinate the activities of picking, assembly and packing.
