The idea

The Reply AI Music Contest, a first for Reply in 2025, is a competition dedicated to experimenting with artificial intelligence in live musical performances. The theme of the competition, 'Experience of a Beat', invites young artists to create immersive experiences through AI applied to musical production, visual arts and audience interaction.

The finalists had the opportunity to perform live on stage at Kappa FuturFestival, one of Europe's most prestigious electronic music festivals, offering the audience new forms of expression that blend technology and creativity. The winner was announced at the end of the last day of the festival.

DELAURENTIS

DeLaurentis is a French electronic artist who composes music as a live human-machine dialogue. She explores synesthesia, fusion of sound and color and new sound textures.

I AM JAS

I AM JAS is a Spanish electronic artist. His performance Trencadisc blends music with AI visuals inspired by Gaudí’s mosaics, creating a dialogue between tradition and technology.

HELANG

Helang is a Chinese-American producer blending house and techno into eclectic soundscapes. Her show combines AI visuals and vocals to create immersive, narrative-driven experiences.

MARCO PUCCINI

Marco Puccini is an Italian visual artist who uses AI to transform imagination into dynamic visual performances. His work blends generative imagery and animation with experimental techno.

MIRROW

MIRROW is an Italian trio exploring the human-machine creativity boundaries. Their AI-enhanced performance merges music, visuals, & vocals, featuring a figure with a robotic-human face.

Fleur Shore is a DJ and producer known for her genre-blending sets, and forward approach to house music. She's never been one to follow trends: she moves instinctively, weaving sounds and styles together in unique ways

Albertino is an acclaimed DJ, radio host, and artistic director of the national station Radio m2o.

Italian DJ and producer, known for his eclectic and innovative sets. Dj Tennis is a pioneer in the use of AI in live performances, pushing the boundaries of electronic music.

Tini Gessler is a DJ and producer, known for her high-energy sets and distinctive blends. Resident for the Elrow events, she has performed at leading clubs and festivals across the globe, including Amnesia Ibiza, Hï Ibiza, and Tomorrowland

Ali Demirel

German-Turkish music producer and DJ, known for his unique blend of electronic and organic sounds. Demirel's live performances often feature AI-generated elements, creating an immersive experience.

Heleen Blanken

Heleen Blanken is an interdisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam, working at the intersection of installation art, new media, cinematography, scenography, and sculpture

Annibale Siconolfi is an Italian digital artist, architect, and 3D designer known for his captivating, futuristic, and dystopian visualizations.
