The challenge
How do you make a small town future-proof?
Hagenow, a small town in northern Germany, was facing a problem familiar to many rural areas: how to remain attractive for citizens and investors? The city did not want to just wait and see, but to actively counteract the trend – with Artificial Intelligence.
Hagenow aimed to make knowledge about the region easily accessible, offer intelligent services and position the city as modern and smart. But, of course, the solution had to comply with the strict data protection regulations of the public sector.
