The challenge

Standardize the financial and logistics processes of Pusterla 1880, maintaining the uniqueness and quality of its luxury products, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with industry requirements.

SCENARIO

Simplify business processes with a unified and scalable approach

Pusterla 1880, a global leader in luxury packaging, has experienced rapid expansion in recent years, supported by a strategy of targeted acquisitions and organic growth. Its products stand out for their very high level of customization, designed to meet the specific needs of customers in the fashion and luxury sector, who require strict quality standards, accurate information and complete traceability along the supply chain. The group operated in a fragmented manner in several countries, with heterogeneous financial and logistics systems that generated non-uniform data and poorly integrated processes. This complexity made it difficult to obtain a unified vision. It was therefore essential to adopt unified financial and operational management, capable of ensuring scalability, flexibility and standardization, to support future growth and respond to the needs of an increasingly demanding and global market.

THE SOLUTION

Optimize production, logistics and finance with Oracle Cloud

The solution developed by Business Reply, an Oracle partner for over 28 years, integrated three key products of the Oracle Cloud suite: ERP Cloud (Financials, Procurement, Order Management, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing), Oracle WMS Cloud and Oracle Transportation Management Cloud.

The ERP allows efficient management of business processes, from production to financial management. The WMS optimizes warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control and traceability. OTM simplifies the management of inbound and outbound logistics, improving the punctuality of deliveries.

The three systems were connected with 90 integration flows, partly exploiting Oracle's predefined solutions and partly customized flows from Business Reply to meet the needs of Pusterla. In addition, Business Reply has developed an innovative integration layer that emulates the functionality of an MES, allowing for real-time monitoring of production progress and improving overall efficiency. The intuitive graphical interface supports daily users and speeds up factory operations.

The results

Efficiency and process control with Oracle Cloud

The automation of repetitive and low value-added activities, especially in the production and warehouse departments, has significantly improved efficiency. The company now has a standardized process for calculating KPIs, eliminating the need for manual interventions and significantly reducing operating time.

Thanks to the full implementation of Oracle, Pusterla 1880 has obtained an integrated view of its business units and complete control over financial and operational processes. Among the main benefits, access to reliable and shared data supports the group's strategic decisions.
