Complete Supply Chain management, from Inbound to Aftermarket services

FOCUS ON: Automotive,

Following a long experience in the automotive market, Click Reply has acquired a key position worldwide regarding logistic solutions for the management of supply processes, production lines and distribution of spare parts for the truck, car and motorcycle sector.

The company has applied the in-depth knowledge acquired, at all levels of operation, to the numerous projects undertaken in collaboration with some of the most important and highly-rated logistics companies in the automotive sector and Italy’s leading car manufacturer.

The offer for the automotive sector consists of two vertical solutions, aimed respectively at the following business categories:

  • Inbound: production line supply
  • Aftermarket: complete supply chain management for the distribution of spare parts

Competitiveness in an increasingly cut-throat market, product/component quality and reduced product-to-market time are today’s true competitive factors. Customer loyalty can be maintained only with effective post-sales management and with a vast range of spare parts available for rapid supply.

Both processes require an effective management that focuses on reducing delays, limiting costs and improving the precision of order fulfilment, by synchronising the provisioning stages for the production cycle, while also reducing stock volumes.

People, processes and technology are the core elements at the heart of the Click solution for the automotive sector.

CLICK REPLY™ FOR AUTOMOTIVE INBOUND

Click Reply™ for Automotive Inbound manages the production plants and consolidation centres for storing materials received during provisioning flows: asynchronous if the material is warehoused just-in-time (JIT) if the material goes directly to the production line.

The Click solution for Automotive Inbound has the following distinct features:

  • goods reception: control, dispatch to processing, through by-pass or shelving
  • Truck and Yard Management
  • Storage and picking of materials supported by the most sophisticated technologies (RF, RFID, Voice control)
  • Picking for materials preparation, saturating collection methods in a sequence compatible with release of material along production line points (sequencing)
  • Supplies to production line: optimisation of routes and goods loading; Information managed (design, supplier, quantity, requesting line and station) allows synchronised, punctual supply to lines
  • Quantitative control and overstock control of supplies
  • Change of property, storage account
  • Kitting and CKD assembly
  • Collection of information necessary for management of containers
  • Management of third party contract work
  • Management of warehouse complexes or advance reception points
  • Exchange of information with factory information systems (production lines)
  • Auxiliary materials management
CLICK REPLY™ FOR AUTOMOTIVE AFTERMARKET

Click Reply™ for Automotive Aftermarket supports the supply, warehousing and distribution of spare parts along the logistics network, consisting of first-level central warehouses (provisioning by supplier, packaging, processing, quality control, testing, warehousing and distribution) and second level (restocking from central warehouses and distribution to customers) and also on local distribution centres (regional warehouses in proximity to customer network).

The solution comprises various modules:

  • virtual and cross-warehouse inventory
  • postponing and dispatching on the logistics network
  • use of RFID and Voice technologies
  • processes supported by Mobile instruments and ASRS systems

Packaging Module: management of activity following goods reception focused on packaging of spare parts. The module possesses all functions necessary for autonomous, self-consistent management of process cycles, product and auxiliary material registration of, technical sheets for activity support, goods movement for cost accounting.

Quality and Testing Module: quality control management for incoming, packing and shipping processes, or for stock inventory situations. The control processes, based on fixed or sample events are highly configurable at workflow level.
