Area management manages the room inventory. Facility Cloud determines and qualifies the rooms, as well as its type of usage, in the first step of this functionality. In addition, users may call up and visualise the key performance-related figures, such as occupancy density and area exploitation. Areas’ assignment to certain departments and cost centres, as well as certain conditions like vacancy or over-occupancy, can also be visually depicted.
Facility Cloud organises the management of physical inventory, such as furniture, PCs, security technology and additional technical systems pursuant to DIN 276. Individual inventory components can be assigned to workstations and thus people, thereby creating the foundation for successful move management. In addition to depicting the inventory in the editor, Facility Cloud also represents the key performance figures for workstations, such as their occupancy. Additional inventory management functions include assigning network devices to their respective network nodes and fire extinguisher maintenance.
Cleaning management involves planning, executing, documenting and settling cleaning measures. Facility Cloud supports companies by creating cleaning plans for certain cleaning groups or areas while taking the various floor coverings, current room usage and frequency of cleaning into consideration. In the Salesforce system that corresponds to the CAD view, users can generate, advertise and subsequently settle orders for cleaning in the ERP system and monitor their costs. It is also possible to monitor them in the factory calendar.
Facility Cloud gives you the option of displaying and managing parking spaces, which resembles the area management function. Parking spaces are assigned and administered as individual parking spaces, car parks or special parking spaces as appropriate for their purpose. The manageable attributes include employee parking permits, issuing and managing parking cards and real-time depiction of parking space occupancy via integrated IoT sensors.
Moving inventories and workstations between buildings or floors is usually a difficult process. Facility Cloud lets you move inventory into virtual lorries with drag and drop so you can prepare, plan and carry out moves. A variant planning option is available for complicated moves; it supports plans that change during the moving process. The costs incurred in the various move variants can be stored directly in Salesforce. Once you have decided on a version, the ERP system integration creates the order and maps the costs.
Efficiently managing a large number of keys and locking systems is often a problem at companies. Facility Cloud helps solve it by mapping (direct) key handovers and returns in the system and making it possible to manage locking cylinders. In addition, Facility Cloud can both map and depict complex locking hierarchies. Reports that give an overview of keys and locks and their current keepers are also available.
