THE SOLUTION
IVECO DV selected SideUp Reply™, Logistics Reply’s service-oriented warehouse management solution, in order to improve the management of its activities within the factory in Bolzano. SideUp Reply™, an easily accessible, web-based solution available anywhere in the world, proved to be an adequate answer to the specific needs of the company. No local installation is required to access the system: all that is needed is an internet connection and a web browser. Thanks to this approach, even those in charge of foreign warehouses can easily monitor and manage their inventory in real-time.
The system makes it possible to filter outgoing orders from Italy – authorising only the shipment of spare parts which have received the required permission, until the order is completely fulfilled. Upon completion of the procedure, a customisation was introduced to assist users with the customs formalities required.
