Securing sales reporting at Volksbank Selm-Bork
Efficient sales reporting with agree21IDA: Fincon Reply provides Volksbank Selm-Bork eG with up-to-date data and a clear basis for decision-making.
The scenario
Focusing on Value Creation: Insightful Reporting Over Time-Consuming Processes
Volksbank Selm-Bork eG, a high-performing cooperative bank with total assets of €433 million, faced the need to fundamentally re-evaluate its internal reporting structures. Organisational changes in sales management, coupled with a growing shortage of skilled personnel, exposed areas for optimisation and prompted the need to realise these efficiency gains without delay.
The Challenge
Reducing Complexity & Increasing Transparency
The bank’s legacy manual reporting process—based on Microsoft Access and Excel—was time-consuming, lacked transparency, and required significant coordination. Strategic KPIs were difficult to benchmark, and report distribution was inefficient, thereby slowing down decision-making.
The aim was not only to enhance the efficiency of internal reporting processes, but also to achieve a strategic realignment:

The solution
IDA-Based Sales Reporting Across All Organisational Levels
Volksbank Selm-Bork eG engaged Fincon Reply to implement an IDA-based solution that would streamline complexity, ensure data quality, and provide a foundation for targeted and sustainable sales management.
The new reporting system is immediately accessible, role-specific, and consistently geared towards decision-making. The outcome: fully integrated sales reporting within agree21Analysen IDA, offering a unified and scalable system that meets all of the bank’s requirements.
Moving away from manually created tables towards system-supported reporting – scalable, robust, and always accessible
The execution
Iterative Delivery and Clear Structuring
The project began with a comprehensive analysis of existing reporting objects, reviewed for consistency. In an iterative approach, business needs, strategic goals, and technical capabilities were carefully aligned.
In a focused workshop, Fincon Reply worked with the bank to consolidate outdated KPIs, derive new metrics directly from the sales strategy, and modernise the reporting visualisation from the ground up.
Implementation was carried out exclusively using agree21Analysen IDA—eliminating the need for additional tools, media disruptions, or interfaces.
A user-specific access and authorisation framework ensures that reporting content is delivered in accordance with the organisational structure. Reports are web-based via a modern HTML interface, presenting all KPIs in real time, interactively and responsively.
Daily reporting is now standard, with retrospective analysis possible without manual intervention. A role-based access model guarantees that managers view only the data relevant to their organisational unit, while advisers access figures for their specific sales area. Additionally, integration with group contracts and contract assignments significantly enhances transparency, enabling targeted, evidence-based sales management.
Fincon Reply has skilfully combined expertise and technology. The new sales reporting system promotes transparency, reinforces goal orientation, and empowers us to act more swiftly—instead of losing time explaining data.

The result
More Time. Better Decisions. Sustainable Success.
Just two months after project initiation, the new reporting system was successfully launched. Sales, control, and management teams alike now benefit from a reporting environment that offers direction, frees up internal resources, and accelerates decision-making.
The introduction of IDA-based sales reporting saves Volksbank Selm-Bork eG up to 15 hours per month in report preparation. Simultaneously, all sales staff can access daily performance figures—an essential driver of transparency, motivation, and long-term sales success.
Legacy Excel structures have been replaced by robust, traceable, audit-proof IDA data architectures. For the bank, this translates into more productive working time, freed from manual reporting tasks, and newly available capacity for strategic initiatives and effective sales management at every level.
