The challenge
Customized
report integration
& user training
In order to include additional information in its reporting system alongside the standard set of reports and to replace its own reports, Sparkasse Baden-Baden Gaggenau commissioned the experts at Fincon Reply. As part of a targeted knowledge transfer, additional reports were to be integrated into the IDH. Another goal of the project was to train specific user groups in the use of IDH reporting.
The solution
From individual reports to standardized solutions
During a workshop, the individual components of the customized credit risk report were analyzed in detail and compared with the existing standard reports. By making targeted adjustments to the existing requirements, it was possible to identify standard reports that will cover reporting in the future. Individual reports from the savings bank were also integrated. In addition, SQL database queries were developed to permanently reduce the manual effort involved in data selection in the credit risk report. At the same time, a customized training concept was implemented to ensure that users were optimally equipped.
The result
Flexible reports thanks to consolidated components
The integration of individual reports into the overall reporting system has enabled the credit risk report to be created and processed in a cost-effective manner. Practical questions from the savings bank were answered in a targeted manner and effective knowledge transfer was ensured to expand the scope of use of IDH reporting. The savings bank is now able to efficiently create additional credit risk reports using IDH reporting. The necessary report components have been consolidated and can be customized independently in the future. The sample process for report creation, which is tailored to the savings bank's requirements, will serve as the basis for creating additional credit risk reports in the future.
