Enterprises making use of Nintex in SharePoint either on-premises or online will now have full access to the powerful e-signature capacity from Nintex Sign, which is powered by Sign from Adobe.
Nintex recently announced it has extended Sign’s capabilities to thousands of enterprise-based customers that use Nintex in Microsoft SharePoint versions 2019, 2016 and 2013.
An effective partnership delivers a powerful product
Adobe and Nintex became partners earlier in the year in order to deliver native e-signature capacity to customers seeking out the most competitively priced, trusted and powerful e-sign option available when using the Nintex Workflow Cloud.
Multiple new user enhancements for Nintex Sign were also included in the Nintex announcement. These include the option for users to assign roles (for example ‘acceptor’ or ‘approver’) when documents are sent, brand new options for authentication, significant support for deadlines and reminders, and the capacity to send secure signed documents that benefit from password protection.
Nintex Sign is an addition to Adobe Sign, the market-leading solution for e-signature that evolved from EchoSign. Over 50% of The United States’ Fortune 100 companies utilise Adobe sign to facilitate document approvals as part of workflows that require signatures.
The growing trend of using e-signatures
Software that manages e-signatures is showing accelerated market growth as a significant number of industries depend on signed forms, agreements and contracts. E-signatures are a far more effective solution than previous methods used, dramatically reducing the turnaround of documents that require signing.
Document review, acceptance, and signing off processes are expedited, but costs for company shipping, faxing, scanning and printing are also greatly lessened using an e-signature workflow. Aragon Research estimate growth in the e-signature software category to grow to a total of $25bn (around £20bn) by the year 2025.
Ben Stori, SGG consultant, said that Nintex Sign has saved the enterprise a lot of money and time. He commented on the efficiency of the software:
“It helped us improve security by adding e-signatures to internal HR documents, and has accelerated our policy and procedure update processes. This is key, because our people are everywhere, and getting signatures on paper documents is very cumbersome.”
Eric Johnson, Nintex CEO stated the recent announcement is a reflection of the enterprise’s commitment to be established as a company customers trust to automate, optimise and manage the way they do business. He explained:
"Nintex is committed to delivering market-leading process management and automation in all the ways our customers prefer. Our e-signature capabilities are now available to enterprises using Nintex on-premises as well as in the cloud to execute all their documents that require signatures."
