Sense Reply was founded in 2017 by a team of professionals with extensive experience in the Energy & Utility sector and with a clear vision of the evolution required by global operating models and technological components in all segments of the value chain.

OUR SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS
We have witnessed a major evolution of regulatory frameworks over the last few decades. In Europe, this has resulted in the European Green Deal, the climate law that enshrines the commitment to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 and the intermediate target of reducing net greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by at least 55% by 2030, compared to 1990 levels.
Achieving zero emissions by 2050 undoubtedly requires fundamental changes in every sector of our economy by the end of the current decade. Moreover, this major transformation calls for an unprecedented acceleration of public and private investment in the research and implementation – on an industrial scale – of new technologies for the generation, distribution and efficient use of energy based on IoT architecture.
Sense Reply has led important projects in Italy and abroad to adopt these technologies in the various segments of the energy value chain, using architectures in line with the most modern principles of platformisation, microservices and virtualisation.
Sense Reply has designed, developed and implemented solutions to enable large industrial customers to acquire the ability to monitor the energy consumption of industrial plants or private installations (including customers belonging to energy communities or consortia) and to couple micro-generation and storage systems to these. Sense Reply has also had the opportunity to support operators of low-voltage distribution networks in the introduction of IoT technologies in order to acquire data from measuring systems, to monitor the operating status of electrical components such as transformers and of physical assets such as secondary substations.
In addition, decarbonisation requires a drastic change in the transport sector, which will have to face a significant penetration of electric vehicles. Electric transportation business models are based on the ability to rely on open IoT platforms that enable interaction between drivers, service providers and charging infrastructure. Sense Reply has enabled communication with more than 40 different types of charging systems, integrating them into complex management processes on an international scale.
In addition, Sense Reply has designed, developed and implemented demand aggregation systems for operators intending to participate in energy flexibility events and large demand response systems for global operators, serving more than 30 flexibility and storage programmes in many countries around the world.

Thanks to its proven experience in the implementation of successful projects using AWS technologies, Sense Reply is able to provide support for energy monitoring and optimisation, energy aggregation, micro-grid management, electric car management, IoT smart metering, the monitoring and optimisation of production from renewable energy sources and more.
Sense Reply relies on its IoT Accelerator to speed up the implementation of Industrial IoT Solutions for large companies, thus allowing customers to reduce the costs, timelines and risks related to the transformation of their processes, as well as enabling the design and launch of new products and services.
