Website Redesign & Delivery Support

Wizards Reply supported RATP DEV in the ratpdev.com redesign through a technical modernization centered on a Headless CMS target architecture powered by Payload Headless CMS.

Defined the content model and reusable templates, prepared migration from the legacy WordPress setup, and implemented a standardized back office for streamlined content contribution, ensuring performance, accessibility, security, and SEO continuity for a scalable, maintainable platform

Challenges

Here are the main challenges we faced :

  • Designing the target Headless CMS architecture and content model while keeping business scope stable.

  • Managing content refactoring and migration from the existing WordPress site and ensuring template/block completeness for build.

  • Preserving SEO while meeting performance, accessibility and security requirements, with dependencies on validation cycles and technical readiness (environments and CI/CD).

Solutions

We decided to define the target web architecture around Payload Headless CMS (content model, reusable components/templates and contribution workflows) and planned the migration from the existing WordPress platform.

We also set up the following key actions :

Supported UX/UI and template specification to drive implementation.

Set up delivery foundations including environments and CI/CD, leveraging the toolchain to industrialize releases.
Embedded accessibility, security and SEO workstreams to de-risk go-live and support long-term maintainability.

Results and value added

Delivered a Headless CMS-oriented target architecture, content model and template approach to standardize website evolution.
Established a deployable technical baseline (environments and CI/CD) to make releases more reliable and repeatable.
Reduced migration and go-live risk through early handling of SEO, accessibility and security constraints, and by clarifying content migration prerequisites and template/block readiness.
