Internal Database Digitalization

Ï(D)OL is a digital platform for LVMH Media to replace a PPT-based repository used to manage airport out-of-home (OOH) advertising positions. The project digitizes the data and workflow into a centralized tool with controlled access, reliable and up-to-date information, and faster reporting. The goal is to reduce manual updates and errors, improve reactivity for short deadlines, and enable consistent decision-making across Maisons (such as Louis Vuitton, Ruinart, Berluti, Guerlain,... ), agencies and vendors, including worldwide operations and China-specific constraints.

Challenges

Here are the main challenges we faced :

  • The legacy paper based system was manually updated, with multiple validation cycles and short deadlines, leading to delays and human errors.

  • Updates were not consistently mirrored across PPT/Excel versions, creating uncertainty, information loss and unreliable KPIs.

  • Reporting required heavy manual data entry and checks, slowing strategic decisions.

  • There was no role/permission model for different stakeholders, and archiving and updates were complex.

Solutions

Wizards Reply delivered the digitization of the legacy paperbased system into a tailored web platform using an Agile approach.
The solution includes role and permission management, a 360° view of current and historical data, CRUD on airports and positions (and related attributes), and standardized exports (Excel/PPT) to speed up consolidation and reporting.

The roadmap progressively adds interactive map capabilities and mobile responsiveness.
The platform is designed for global deployment, with a dedicated China environment and redirection flow to comply with local data hosting constraints.

Results and value added

Centralized, standardized data creates a single source of truth and reduces information loss.
Structured data and automated exports shorten KPI/report production time and reduce manual workload and related errors.
Role-based access improves governance across personas (Media HQ, agencies, Maisons, vendors).
Delivery was incremental and value-driven: an MVP was produced in 6 weeks to validate the value proposition and start collecting feedback, then expanded through iterative releases (2-week sprints) to improve responsiveness and scalability.
