With flexible registration and login flows, progressive profiling, single sign-on, and granular consent controls, CDC creates a unified, legally compliant view of the customer. Through seamless integrations with SAP Customer Experience solutions such as SAP Emarsys, SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Service Cloud, and SAP Commerce Cloud, as well as third-party systems, high-value first-party data is securely activated - providing the foundation for omnichannel personalization, analytics, and governance.
Technology Details
SAP Customer Data Cloud is built on a cloud-native architecture and provides open APIs as well as webhooks and events for integrations. Prebuilt screens and SDKs for web and mobile allow rapid implementation of registration, login, social login, and preference and consent interfaces. At its core is a directory/identity store for managing identities and profiles. For data protection and governance, the solution includes integrated consent and preference management with versioning and audit trails.
Security features such as MFA, risk and fraud controls, bot protection, and CAPTCHA help prevent misuse. Existing IAM and IdP landscapes can be integrated via SSO and federation, including SAML and OIDC. The platform integrates with SAP Customer Experience solutions - including marketing, commerce, and CDP systems—as well as common third-party CDPs and ETL pipelines, enabling secure activation of first-party data in downstream systems.
