Avantage Reply is partnering for the second year with PRMIA for its annual Risk Leader Summit. This is an invitation-only gathering for risk practitioners of CRO/MD level seniority in a Financial Institution, with over 150 eligible risk practitioners attending. The Risk Leader Summit comprises a number of highly interactive panel sessions, based on a number of strategic risk topics – for example, horizon risk, climate change, technology and cybersecurity – and offers the chance to network with peers.

Key PRMIA conference panel sessions:

1. Strategic CRO function – tas the three lines of defence model evolve, the CRO’s office has an increased responsibility in the decision making. The discussions will be on how the CRO can get Board buy-in on key decisions and to better align strategy and risk.

2. Financial Crime Risk - how data and analytics are utilised to identify risk and improve operational efficiency.

3. Climate Change , wdiscussions on the topic will cover the threats and opportunities arising from climate changes, and what amendments to the policies and procedures should institutions take to account for it.

4. The Value Chain Recalibration a discussion on how financial services firms are adapting their strategies to stay competitive against the increasing number of industry disruptors.

5. Risk Technology Stack as technology stacks have aged during the years, there is a real need for change. The discussion is if institutions should upgrade or reinstall their current technology stacks.
