Intelligent data validation: when AI does the work for you

THE CONTEXT

Between the quantity and quality of data

In many organizations, it is common to receive large volumes of data related to individuals, companies, or public domain elements. Often, it is necessary to verify the reliability of this information by comparing it with available online sources. This type of check, if done manually, requires a lot of time and resources: each individual piece of data must be analyzed and validated through targeted web searches.

THE CHALLENGE

Is it possible to validate information while reducing human intervention?

The goal was to develop a solution capable of:

  • Automating the validation process through online research.

  • Reducing manual intervention in routine checks.

  • Improving the overall reliability of the processed data.

THE SOLUTION

Intelligent automation for reliable data

We have created a system based on a LLM agent (Large Language Model) capable of:

  • Receiving information to verify (e.g., name, link, public attribute).

  • Performing an automated web search to confirm its validity, using semantic criteria.

  • Analyzing the most relevant results and determining the reliability level of the information.

If the agent detects ambiguity or absence of matches, it activates a broader search to autonomously identify the correct data. The process can be enriched with additional parameters (e.g., links to addresses, regulatory references, etc.) to increase accuracy of the verification.

The advantages

Fully automated verification

The verification activities are fully automated.

Ultra-fast checks

The time required to confirm the reliability of the data is drastically reduced.

Reduction of human intervention

Human intervention is limited to exceptional cases only, freeing up resources for higher value-added activities.

Always up-to-date reliability

The verification is continuous and is based on web information that is always up to date, thanks to integration with online search APIs.
