Virgin Media O2 partnered with Open Reply to provide end-to-end services, encompassing UI design, engineering, and delivery management.


Our specialized squads have significantly bolstered VMO2's capabilities, expediting the rollout of new products in a highly dynamic environment amidst the merger of Virgin Media and O2.

We've provided subject matter expertise to effectively manage the demand for digital transformation within VMO2's Online Sales channel. Our provision of skills and capacity has been instrumental in stabilizing and driving delivery within this critical pillar of online sales.

Our engineers collaborated closely with the Digital team to develop ecommerce and eCare functionality on a new front end for both existing O2 products and new VMO2 product versions.


This involved the strategic removal of dependencies on legacy systems like the Netcracker ERP through the implementation of a headless solution rooted in a microservices architecture.

To showcase the effectiveness of our proposed solution, we developed a proof of concept (POC) leveraging Angular, alongside new CMS and Node.JS technologies. The POC provided clear validation of the concept and architecture, highlighting the agility with which new functionality can be delivered using this innovative approach.
