Forge Reply, the Reply Group company that specialises in the design and implementation of applications and experiences based on Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality for enterprises, is the first company in Italy to be certified a Microsoft Mixed Reality Partner.
“Microsoft is delighted to announce Forge Reply as a formal Mixed Reality Partner and an important resource for customers based in Italy and across Europe. Reply is a strategic Microsoft partner with exceptional depth and breadth of offerings that include Azure cloud, IOT and big data offerings. As enterprise customers look to Forge Reply to help them with their strategic transformations, the addition of mixed reality and Microsoft HoloLens will help clients take more immediate advantage of their data and assets in a way that can help save signficant costs, create new ways of collaboration and learning, along with the creation of new revenue streams.” Leila Martine, EMEA Mixed Reality Partner Program Lead.
The new Microsoft Mixed Reality Partner Program aims to identify companies which, in the development of mixed reality applications, distinguish themselves in terms of innovation, technical competence, creativity, ergonomics of the applications developed, quality of 3D content and the ability to integrate HoloLens within the technological ecosystems of companies.
Already, Forge Reply has experienced strong feedback around the transformative capabilities of mixed reality with industrial clients. One example is the maintenance application created to support marine engines for a major Italian client. Through this application, the user is given a step-by-step guide through the process of removing and replacing engine parts using animated graphics. The potential of this application will allow for substantial improvements in training productivity and “first time right” effectiveness.
Forge Reply provides design, development and implementation services for 3D experiences that take advantage of the latest Virtual Reality, Auagmented Reality and Mixed Reality technologies. The solutions it has developed help companies to communicate effectively with their customers (presentation and configuration of the product; emotional experiences), as well as improving the effectiveness of specific internal processes (training, maintenance support, empowerment of front-line workers).
