Banco Popolare chose Reply for setting up an application that allows the purchase of services on the move. The application, named "Youpay Mobile" is based on Hi Credits, the mobile payments solution from Reply which enables innovative remote and proximity payment services. Hi Credits is the platform from Reply that enables the features offered by a smartphone (geolocation sensors, data connection, NFC, video camera, microphone etc…) to be used for setting up applications that supply contextualized payment services.

Youpay Mobile is Banco Popolare's Mobile Payment APP, available for free download from Android and iOS app stores, which enables anybody who owns a smartphone and a payment card to make payments in a safe and easy way.

"A key element in the decision to select Hi Credits has been the possibility to offer to our customers a Mobile Payment application which simply and safely integrates with their own app", explained Stefano Dorigatti, Head of Transnational Bank of Gruppo Banco Popolare.

ATB, the public transport company of Bergamo, has integrated Youpay Mobile within its platform of information services that cover urban mobility. Citizens and tourists can now purchase bus tickets and pay for parking in regulated blue areas with their smartphone or tablet.

The collaboration with Reply extended to several other fields and scenarios, including the activation of functionalities such as the payment of postal orders, the purchase of services offered by appointed merchants and the payment service through mobile POS.

"We intend to offer our customers the best collection of payment solutions; that's why we invest a lot in innovation with regards to services which integrate in the so-called Financial Value Chain", states Stefano Dorigatti. Banco Popolare confirms, in a moment of great transformation of the market, to be a key player for change and leader in Italy, with the most innovative and safe Mobile Payment solutions.
