SOLUTION

The main request of the client was to have a centralized repository for all its assets (image, video and documents) in order to manage them easier, to provide integration with existing systems and to improve business processes. In a first phase of the project, all assets came from current DB and other repositories was migrated to the DAM following the guidelines provided. In the second step the same process was used to add new assets and their own metadata, so a regular updating process of metadata from the ERP system in use by the customer are injected in AEM DAM repository. These phases requested an automatic generation of images default renditions in all formats to use in downstream systems. Moreover, the system made available the creation of Reports and Management Workflows.
