Storm Reply, the Reply Group company specialising in cloud computing services and Premier Consulting Partner in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN), announced today that it has attained the AWS Migration Competency.
This achievement is in addition to Storm Reply’s membership in the AWS Managed Services Provider Program and the AWS Big Data, DevOps, IoT and Oracle Competencies, which they have previously achieved. With the AWS Migration Competency, Storm Reply is one of the first AWS Partner in EMEA to hold all these competencies.
AWS enables scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions for start-ups and global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Competency Program to help customers identify APN Consulting and Technology Partners with deep industry experience and expertise. The AWS Migration Competency recognizes Storm Reply’s outstanding work in helping customers move successfully to AWS, through all phases of complex migration projects which include discovery, planning, migration and operations. To receive this Competency, APN Partners need to demonstrate deep AWS expertise and deliver seamless AWS solutions.
The AWS Migration Competency differentiates Storm Reply within the AWS Partner Network (APN) as a member with technical proficiency and proven customer success with a specific focus on Migration Consulting including automated assessment, planning and migration of large scale applications and data centres to the cloud.
Storm Reply implements the Cloud Adoption Framework based on a 6R Methodology for categorizing the migration patterns, consisting of Re-Host, Re-Platform, Re-Factor, Re-Purchase, Retain and Retire.
