Maker Faire, is the greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth - a place where people of all ages and backgrounds gather together to show what they are making, and share what they are learning. At the European Edition of Maker Faire, Reply presenting to students and developers two initiatives:
Open Hardware Lab and
Code for Kids.
Open Hardware Lab presents four projects developed during the annual Reply's Open Hardware hackathon. The four projects are focused on
virtual reality, robotics and the Internet of Things. Particular focus will be given to:

Hi cosy, a configurable ecosystem built on the Arduino Yún microcontroller board for the remote control of energy plants, industrial installations and household systems.
At the heart of the vibrant "Kids&Young" zone, Reply presents
Code for Kids, an international initiative by Reply aimed at European companies and schools with the objective of educating the next generation of innovators. Through an experience focused on play and experimentation, Reply Code for Kids stimulates children’s and teenagers’ natural curiosity, thereby helping them to learn the basics of programming.
After touring Europe for the first six months of 2015, with more than 600 children involved across Italy, Germany and the UK, Reply Code for Kids is marking the new school year by bringing to the Maker Faire the
PowerLab, “the laboratory for superpowers”. It will play host to hundreds of children and teenagers, particularly on October 16, the day dedicated to schools. All trainers participating in the Reply Code for Kids initiative are Reply employees, with a passion for technology and a desire to transfer to children the enthusiasm for continuing to discover and invent new things.
