The live streaming app for iPad, developed by Reply for Sky Deutschland, is one of the most successfull Apps for iPad; 70,000 downloads since its launch in June 2010.
On 30 November in Hamburg, in occasion of the 2010 Kress Award, the Sky Sport App, which was developed by Reply by order of Sky Deutschland, won the prize for the best application of 2010 in the Web/Mobile category.
With Sky Sport App for iPad the fans can follow live all matches in the first and second division of the Bundesliga, the UEFA Europa League, all UEFA Champions League games, the German club championship and DEL ice hockey games. During the last World Cup football enthusiasts were able to follow live all 64 of the games played in South Africa.
Reply was chosen by SKY Deutschland as a reference partner for the entire project. After being created in just 10 weeks, the application’s launch at the German iTunes store saw the specific involvement of three Group companies: syskoplan AG, bitmama and Open Reply, which applied their own specialist skills and previous experience from similar projects in SaaS (Software as a Service), Digital Communication and Mobile Architecture Content Delivery.

The Sky Sport App functions include: Sky Live-Sport, latest Sport News, Videoclips, Datacenter with all result, charts, club profiles as well as important background information on the national and international sport.
