SAP Deutschland AG & Co KG this evening awarded Reply Deutschland the SAP Ecosystem Innovation Award during SAPPHIRE® NOW conference in Madrid. The competition was held under the auspices of SAP management (Ecosystem & Channels) as part of a co-innovation project by SAP and SAP partners in the Germany/Austria/Swiss markets. The competition’s objective is to plan and design innovative solutions and to develop new sales concepts for launching these solutions on the market. Today the best business scenarios are being awarded and presented at SAPPHIRE NOW. Reply Deutschland (formerly syskoplan) convinced the jury with its solution presentation which increases campaign success in the consumer goods industry by using graphical support for planning customer visits made by field sales representatives. The solution is based on the SAP Visual Business interface. It can be implemented as a small entry-level scenario but also be extended to a comprehensive solution for trade promotion management combined with SAP HANA™.
Reply Deutschland developed a business scenario suitable for mid-size to large consumer goods companies featuring a graphical interface which facilitates planning and making sales visits by field reps during the sell-in phase of a campaign and to optimize on-site visits in order to ensure campaign success.
“The objective of the SAP Ecosytem Innovation Award is to bundle the innovative power of the SAP ecosystem and to provide partners with support as they develop new solutions and go-to-market approaches,” says Friedrich Neumeyer, senior vice president, volume reseller & service partners at SAP. “The innovation concept by Reply Deutschland was convincing. It allows consumer goods manufacturers to easily implement a simple scenario which delivers benefits quickly.”
The solution scenario is based on the SAP Visual Business interface, an innovative user interface technology which displays content from highly different (SAP and non-SAP) data sources in a graphical interface. For example, customer master data and related data hierarchies stored in SAP NetWeaver® Business Warehouse can be enriched with external sources such as Nielsen Trade Dimensions, GfK or scanner data. “We are delighted to be receiving this award from SAP,” says Dr. Jochen Meier, executive board member at Reply Deutschland AG. “Our solution scenario was designed for use in the consumer goods industry. At the same time, though, using the scenario is also conceivable in other sectors where sales management also plays a key role, such as in the insurance industry.”
