Communication Valley Reply, in collaboration with Cisco, hosts the workshop “How to fight back against Cryptolocker”, at the Reply Cyber Security Command Center (Via Robert Koch 1/4, Milan) on 28 April 2016, and focused on the Cryptolocker trojan.
Cryptolocker is a ransomware trojan, that propagates via infected email attachments or via an existing botnet. The malware encrypts files stored on the computer with a private key and asks for a cash payment in order to decrypt the data, otherwise the victim will not be able to restore these files.
The event offers an overview of the Cryptolocker trojan evolution and the battle against its propagation using advanced and intelligent containment services and tools.
