AEM helps customers organize and manage the delivery of creative assets and other content across digital marketing channels, including web, mobile, email, social media, and video. The AEM consulting team provides expert skills in the implementation of the Adobe AEM solution offering as well as integrating complementary Adobe enterprise solutions and working with clients' existing IT infrastructure. Adobe Consulting engagements involve full life-cycle project delivery, in-depth product, and technical consulting, and mentoring and knowledge transfer customers. As a Technical Architect, you will deliver high quality consulting services to our growing client base. This includes facilitation of technical requirements gathering, performing solution and application design, and development, testing and installation of Adobe software as required by the project.


  • Constant learning of new systems, processes, trends, best practices, etc.
  • Be a recognized expert in AEM software-based solutions & technologies
  • Deliver effective consulting services and lead ambassadorship in our client relationships
  • Provide technical leadership in sophisticated AEM-centric digital marketing solutions. Lead solution architecture design, guide and mentor teams to develop high quality solutions
  • Be a sought-out partner by Sales. Support consulting representation in sophisticated solution selling, collaborating with Sales to define initial architectural approaches and identify potential challenges and associated solutions
  • Drive the continuous improvement of delivery methodology and planning guidance
  • Partner with and enable Sales to develop accurate scoping and cost estimates Mentor others on the team, from new hire on-boarding to complex implementation issues
  • Lead the team in identifying, capturing, and distributing knowledge with clients, partners and colleagues via direct interaction and Adobe communities
  • Diagnose the client's technical environment and how they use Adobe technology to recommend options for improvement
  • Efficiently multi-task, working across multiple client engagements at the same time as well as key internal initiatives
  • Play a key role as a change agent in pursuit of constant tuning and improvement of our practice
  • Effectively analyze complex project issues, identify the possible solution options, and facilitate the presentation and review of the options and our recommended solution with the client
  • Proactively maintain the highest level of technical expertise by staying ahead of Adobe technologies through internally and externally available learning opportunities as well as self-study
  • Train and mentor junior team members

Required Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in the Web and/or ECMS technologies
  • 3 years of direct client consulting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as customer relationship building skills
  • Articulate technical solutions and how they can solve client business problems to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge in the Sling or OSGi frameworks, JCR API, RESTful principles or ExtJS framework, Dispatcher or CDNs a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent years of experience

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to the latest AEM Cloud Service is a plus
  • Mastery in at least one of the current SQL dialects
  • Administration and debugging of Web servers, e.g. Apache
  • Debugging and appropriate debugging tools usage skills in general TCP/IP networking, UNIX Operating system, HTTP protocol and request processing, SMTP, etc.
