HIGHLIGHTS

MUNICH

  • ARTIFICIAL
    INTELLIGENCE

Since the dawn of the computer age, software developers have dreamed of creating artificial intelligence. Now, software is becoming smarter and is transforming people’s daily lives to an ever greater degree. Consumers are witnessing this transformation through developments such as personal assistants, self-driving cars and smart home applications. In fact, whole economic sectors are being revolutionised by intelligent technologies. This is due to computers becoming increasingly adept at recognising and analysing patterns in structured and unstructured data in a completely new way, offering new business insights. We will showcase how artificial intelligence is used to revolutionise business processes.

  • CLOUD
    COMPUTING

Technology innovation is accelerating fast. Companies have to be more innovative than ever before. But innovation means releasing better software to drive modern trends faster than ever. In order to create new software solutions, enterprises are using agile methodologies and cloud computing to meet that challenge. At Reply Xchange we are looking at the benefits of the synergies emerging from agile development and cloud computing. We present the relevant steps that have to be considered in order to set up a security strategy in a cloud environment, one which is able to protect systems, applications and APIs, devices and the digital identities of end customers in an intensive IoT digital transformation strategy.

  • DATA
    DRIVEN
    MARKETING

Stop talking about digital transformation and start using the power of digital to drive your business! In today’s fast-changing economy, it’s vital to know which factors actually drive your business forwards, how you can optimise campaign budgets, and how to encourage employees to share their experiences and the lessons they have learned. Relevant data is often found in silos, which need to be broken down so that their information can be disseminated and everyone can be empowered to make better, more informed decisions.

  • DIGITAL
    WORKFORCE

Many of today’s business processes still run according to rigid rules and depend on human interaction. Often, these processes involve highly repetitive work such as checking invoices and travel expenses. By letting self-learning algorithms find patterns and solutions in data instead of following pre-programmed rules, certain business systems will reach a new level of intelligence and efficiency. The starting point in terms of identifying business processes for automation is process mining techniques for extracting information. In this session, we show how to identify relevant processes for automation and we present successful customer implementations of automated processes that enable the running of an efficient intelligent enterprise.

  • INTERNET of
    THINGS

The Internet of Things represents a new, competitive edge for companies. Reply has been continuously investing in the Internet of Things and is one of the leading players in the sector. The heart of Reply’s IoT offer consists of technology platforms based on a rapid deployment model, coupled with specific vertical solutions targeted by market segments. Real cases illustrating the development and introduction of IoT technologies in enterprises will be presented during this session. A great example is open IoT platforms and ecosystems for customers that simplify the development of IoT software and unlock the full potential of new business models.

  • NextGen
    COMMERCE

Helping shoppers to find products that they want to buy is an essential part of turning them into customers. In the world of retail, both online and offline, a lot of effort goes into organising stores; signposting items and helping people find their way towards the things they want. But not every purchase is planned and consumers spend a lot of money on impulsive purchases. This is one area where personal recommendations can have a significant impact on a person’s buying habits. At POS a smart assistant can recognise a customer’s tastes and lead them towards a selection of goods that they might buy. But in online stores, an ecommerce recommendation engine performs the work of your best salesperson.

  • ROBOTICS
    FOR CUSTOMERS

Recent advances in machine-learning technology have enabled a future where devices running on self-learning algorithms will operate much more independently than they do now. They develop context-sensitive behaviour and interact with humans. What if you let machine learning manage the routine questions while you take the more inspiring cases where customers want to speak to a live agent? A great example is chatbots to handle standard customer service requests. Machine learning will generate the insights providing more value for customers. Intelligent Customer Engagement Platforms will enhance customer experience, identify new opportunities and decrease costs by using innovative customer touch points.

LOCATION

Munich - BMW Welt

The BMW Welt is one of the first buildings representing a new generation of communication buildings for the 21st century. This is where the corporation goes into dialogue with its customers, friends and visitors from all over the world – a place of meeting and of change. The open style of architecture and the glass facade allow a lot of light into the rooms and open up the building towards its surroundings. Simultaneously, the BMW Welt harmonically blends into the context of the architecture of the Olympiapark and the existing BMW buildings. The interior of the BMW Welt proves just as remarkable as its architecture: different room perspectives, an easy orientation and a maximum of comfort create the right atmosphere in which to present the BMW Group brands - BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars - as an impressive experience.
