May 30th 2016 Reply organizes the 5th edition of
Reply Student Tech Clash. The Reply Student Tech Clash is an European student live challenge, offering students all over Europe the opportunity to work for one day on generating ideas and developing solutions based on the latest technologies. Students are accompanied by experienced Reply mentors, who support them in actually translating disruptive ideas into functioning technological solutions in a creative and fun atmosphere.
Previous editions comprised institutions like the renowned
RWTH Aachen, KIT- Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Torino and
Bocconi University. Previous topics has been Gaming, The future of Banking, Internet of Things and Blockchain.
This 5th edition Reply Tech Clash of 2016 is on
The Future of Retail. New technologies can create shortcuts between the first perception of a product and purchase. Therefore marketers need to put a focus on the needs – rather than the point of sale. During the Reply Student Tech Clash students will work in groups using
design thinking methodology and will develop solutions that enable retailers to adapt to the changing consumption patterns and set new standards through disruptive innovations. Winning teams will be awarded with an
all-inclusive 2 days trip to Berlin for the
Tech Open Air (TOA) interdisciplinary technology festival mid of July. The winning University will be awarded with a 3D printer.
The Tech Clash allows students to experience the power lying in technological innovation and having an impact on shaping the future of retail.
The tech clash is open to all students from RWTH Aachen and University of Erlangen. Registration is possible as individual or in teams of 4 students until May 25th 2016 via the official website:
